No spark on half the cylinders!?
69 Firebird with a 400. It has a stroker kit and is bored, so 468. Have Fitech throttle body EFI. Brand new rebuild. Put the motor in and it ran great, but after a few heat cycles, it started to misfire and run rough. Now it won’t start at all. No spark. I replaced the distributor yesterday and it wanted to pop a couple of times, but wouldn’t run. Check for spark this morning and I have no spark on 1,7,6,and 2. I have spark at 3,4,5,and 8. What in the world would cause this. I am totally stuck. Nothing makes sense anymore. What am I missing?? PLEASE HELP.
