Beautiful Car..... it's been my desktop for years. What happened to the original hood (with the newer body style Chevelle ducts in it)?

I still have it. It developed a couple of cracks so I installed new 66 chevelle hood ducts and getting the body work done.

great looking car. You wouldn’t happen to have a part number for the vents by chance?
      My half a$$ed build thread.https://www.pro-touring.com/threads/...elle-6-0-4L60E

Tighten it till it strips & back it off a quarter turn.

Absolutely love this car! Just curious what kind of HP that engine would make?

Stock the 1970 500 caddy was 400 hp,500 ft lbs. I had a lot of work done to the engine so I would estimate 475-500 hp but the great thing about the 500 caddy is the massive amount of torque the produce. This thing probably has well over 650 ft lbs at 3-3500 rpm. I run 2.56 gears with a 315 bf goodrich g force tire and this engine will literally blow the tires of the car.
The caddy engine only weighs 75 lbs more than a small blk chevy and it is a super fast reving engine.
