      Custom Driveshaft for TR6060

Any ideas for vendors where I can order a custom driveshaft that is compatible with a TR6060 transmission for our ‘67 camaro? Here is an example.

I use a local driveshaft shop to make all my stuff. Has it done in a few days. Cost is very reasonable. Never had an issue with a DS from him. If you happen to be near San Jose CA I can hook you up. He made one for my Tremec for a second gen camaro - ended up going with a 3.5" shaft to match the 3150 style yoke I used. I brought them the yoke and just told them what type of u-joint for the rear end. Fit like a glove. Measure twice, cut once!

      They make those:

I wound up buying one for my build as well. They aren’t cheap, but by the time you buy the tr6060 coupler, then custom driveshaft, bolts etc it costs the same. Plus they put in a cv joint which is much more forgiving with driveline angles.

I think I paid $375 for mine plus the yoke which was $150

I’m lucky to have a local firm that made my aluminum driveshaft with 1350s to run between my two and moser 12 bolt.

I ordered a custom Strange driveshaft through Summit Racing. Works great and reasonable price.

I used The Driveshaft Shop too. My local driveshaft shop would not make me a custom shaft with a CV which is required if your trans yoke is fixed (bolted on) and you have a live rear axle. Fit like a glove, no vibrations.

You can buy an adapter to convert the three bolt flange to 1350 u-joint yoke, then just get a driveshaft made with slip yoke. That is how I'm doing mine
