      Will 17x11s work on a 1970 Lemans?

I have a stock 1970 Lemans and was wondering if
17x11, 275/40-17s will work on a '70? Anybody ever tried using them?

      Thanks,
      Jim in Oswego, IL

Depending on the offsets yes ... a 275 on the front can be a squeeze with a stock style sway bar . With a splined style sway bar and correct offsite. Plus a touch of massage work to the inner wheel wells you could get a 315 up there . As for the rear you will he fine with a 275 and the correct offset
