      Single leaf car/Multi leaf housing

I'm in a jam and might be having to move very soon. I have a 12 bolt that came out of a multi leaf car and I want to put it in my single leaf car to avoid having to pack/haul etc.. So, as you know, the depth of the spring perchs are about 1.5"-2" different (eyeballed, I have not measured yet) TURNS OUT, ACTUALLY ONLY 1" DIFFERENCE
Is there a "block" / "Spacer" that would suffice to do what I want until I get settled in to the new place?

I don't know of anyone who sells such a block but with a little careful measuring I see no reason why you could not make a block.

A 1" block did the trick. Worked perfect and is doing great on the road. I used 1/2" grade 8 bolts with lock nuts. The spring had a locator pin on the bottom so everything is pin located down to the lower bracket
