      I think simply Jane fits, and gives you an opportunity to tell the story when people ask, "why Jane?" Then if/when you start winning races after you get it up and running you could call it the Reign of Jane. Lol! ;)

      Reading through this build thread I noticed you had to remove a significant amount of trans tunnel to clear the tremec...is that normal with the DSE setup? I didn't have to remove any of my tunnel to clear it with the AME setup.

      Yes, that certainly is the case with my build, and many others I've seen. I'm using a preformed tunnel patch from Bowler to cover it up. This way I'll have plenty of room around the trans while it's in the car, and also have access to the shifter mechanism from the top through a removable cover.

      Did some minor rust repair in the trunk near where the cross member runs across.

      We also decided to make the trunk notches a little bigger for even more clearance over the rear axle for exhaust. Can't hurt to have a little extra wiggle room!

      Looks good! I still need to install my Bowler patch.

      Are you putting the shifter in the stock position? Are you running a console?

      I was going to fabricate a removable access panel the size of the shifter top lid plus a notch towards to the rear to accommodate the shifter stub when pulling the transmission out or going back in.

      Thanks! Right now the shifter is in the rear most location. I'm torn between running no console or a 5th gen console.

      There will be a removable panel that's a little larger than the shifter mechanism to allow me to access all the bolts on top and allow me to rotate it 180° to move the shifter forward. I'd hate to have to remove the trans for such a simple task!

      Subframe connectors are in. The original braces that were trimmed to get to the floor pan will be welded back in after some trimming around the new connectors.

      They're included in the subrame connector kit from DSE.
