Tony, did you build those yourself or buy them? I'm in the process of doing some custom fiberglass work on my Datsun Z project and am always looking for tips an pointers.

My 68 had the same flares, made of metal but sat lower on the panel, I guy in Daytona did them, he used to build and race 935, this was in the early 80 when this was done, but it looked great, lots like the picture,
Steve68- 1968 Camaro SS LSX T56, 12bolt 3:90's, 18" Fikse Profil 13s, Deep Fathom Green paint, Spearcos, just bunch of old junk because another member said so, LOL

I found this old thread from Team Camaro. The options near the bottom of the page don't appear to be nearly as wide as the flares pictured above though.

Those flares were built by my friend Mark Deshetler. He has the molds, so he can make more. The rears are basically a 90% quarter panel, so you can trim them as much as you like or use most of it as your own quarter panel. The fronts are a different story. The fronts are basically a whole fender for a one-piece front-end.

I can E-mail you his contact info if you are interested.

Thanks for the offer Tony. I was just curiuos if you had any tips on fiberglassing. I'm making entire custom rear quarter panels, fenders, and a new front nose and tail panel for mine. I'm a novice so hopefully it will turn out all right.

In fact, I just got my big bucket-o-resin and all of my cloth in the mail the other day! Now, I just need to finish sculpting the mold! Can you tell I'm excited! = )
