Ended up making my own BIG block Chevy Ls coil covers for my 1969 camaro . No need to relocate oil filler neck , coils or valve covers . Very tight clearances and fitment I love the new look Name: IMG_8116.JPG

These are just ugly. A valve cover that’s bigger than the head? It looks horrible. The design Holley and Wegner are using is much better. It covers the coils, but it’s not weirdly large.

I love your honest opinion but to each it’s own , the whole point of it it’s to make my LS have the BBC look and feel and yes it’s a coil cover not a valve cover assembly

yes, if the BBC look is what you’re looking for, absolutely. If you’re just looking for a stylish look that covers the coils and that’s it, that’s Holley and Wegner right now.

The thing that scares me about these valve covers is encasing the coils and trapping in all that heat.

Do the coils get hot? I saw that even Lingenfeter has a set...would really like to know.

Contacted Holley, they said after exhaustive testing they didn’t see any concerns with ventilation or heat. Some air slots couldn’t hurt IMO.

Part of my desigh and purpose being a cover is not completely incased but I would guess that if heat was issue. it would of surfaced a long time ago. Since these full closed set ups been around for a while
