Personally, I'm not a huge fan. Other than later model (70's) F-body sport mirrors, I think a lot of the later model stuff looks too big.

But that's just me. As far as the actual car, is it a 68? or 69 or later? I think later model mirrors clash with vent windows on say 67 Camaros, and 68 Chevelles... in more way than one. I think the vent window is too classic looking to pull off the integration of a late model mirror. The other issue is that to fit a mirror on a car with a wing window, you have to place it so far back to clear the vent window path, I think it looks odd. I think they're better pulled off on say a 69 or later Chevelle with a 1 piece side window.

We used mirrors off a late 90s Buick LeSabre on our 69 Chevelle. They fit really good and don't look out of place. Plus you get the convex mirror on the passenger side so the mirror is actually useful.

Those mirrors are huge, I bought a set and decided they were too big for a Camaro but have seen it look ok on a few bigger cars.

might be a little big on this vette.
6th gen mirrors look good too.

Never liked any other style mirror except the factory ones on classic cars.
So we have a Patent on our mirrors and own the molds to make them.
Only problem is the factory mirrors don't work!!!
Check out Clear Shot Mirrors. Morris Classic Concepts.
If you want to paint them just bead blast them, epoxy primer, paint them and assemble with
a 5/16 wrench ,Phillips screw driver and RTV. Will have bare aluminum our next run.
Eliminates the blindspot and you can tighten the ball & socket in the mirror head if ever needed.

Forgot to mention that you can get a convex mirror for the passenger side but that
isn't the reason our mirrors eliminate the blind spot. It is the design of our entire mirror.
We have a very light blue lens that reduces glare and gives a very vibrant sharp view.

Those look good but wonder if they provide any better view behind the car? The mirrors on C3 Corvettes more of the quarter panel than anything useful.

I've got them on my 70 Chevelle. I modified the bases of the mirrors instead of using adapters though. I don't think something designed for 68-69 doors would fit 70-72 doors. The viewing area is much better, especially on the passenger side with the convex mirror. The stock one was pretty much useless.
