What's the plan to modify? I am looking at these for the Cougar.

Is it that hard to mount the tires the correct direction?

If the are directionals, just put the wheel on the other side...

NOT hard at all--- I bought 1 wheel and 1 tire to try on each side to make sure i had all clearance needed....

NEXT, the plan is to powder coat the "outside lip" in gloss black and then the center in a darker tint like black chrome II..... Low budget form of a Forgeline, that is not in budget right now.

Having a black outer lip looks very odd to me. I've seen it before and it makes the wheels look smaller in diameter and makes the sidewall of the tire look huge.

My apologies then. That is a good reason- one I hadn't thought of.

I follow a lot of different build types, so crossing genres... (and finding a black gloss rim that looks good - IMO) - here

I agree its stepping out there. BUT Almost every single car at the show has chrome bumpers and chrome trim with chrome wheels.... Looks great, just trying something different with out spending 300k on one of these Kindigit style builds

Worst case---- looks horrible and i reblast the wheels and start over
