Default Aerocatch hood latches on 69 Camaro

Iím having some issues with the stock hood latch in my build, so I started looking at alternatives, such as hood pins. I ran across the Aerocatch and thought it might work well functionally, plus I like the look. Anyone have experience with these?

There's a carbon fiber version that looks really nice as well.

If your still shopping options, take a look at https://www.quik-latch.com/ some models are lockable. I have seen some cheaper knock offs but not sure of their quality. See some cheap ones on Amazon. I'm thinking about going with something like these. Good luck with whichever you choose.
