      First gen guy from AZ.

      Hello all. First post here. I’m a die hard 1st gen guy from Gilbert AZ. Currently working on two projects. My 68 Camaro is a 22 year project, Bought it as a roller in 1997 and held onto it until I began working on it in 2013.

      My 68 Firebird I picked up in 2015 and upgraded the engine to a 464” Pontiac with a TH400 and Vintage Air.

      Very nice. What part of Gilbert? I’m at cooper and ray. Are you on the AZ 1st gen Camaro & Firebird page on Facebook? We have all most 150 guys from AZ with 1st gens. Check it out if you’re not already on there.

      Thanks, I'm near downtown. Right off Elliot. Just joined the group on FB, knew about a first gen group but not specific AZ group.

      Nice to see people from the Phoenix area. I am near 35th Ave and Northern. I see that the fire wall is smooth, but I don't see a bolt hole for the front fender. Why is this? Nice cars buy the way. oleyeller the 1967 camaro is the only one that can fly because it has a wing (window). 67 is the best as we all know, sequels are never as good as the first.

      Yeah about that..... The guy who did the bodywork wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed. Luckily he didn’t weld those up. I was able to locate them and open them back up with no issues.
