      Speed sensor question T-56

      Guys,

I have have viper case t-56 for LSx and I am getting bit frustrated here.

Do I have place for electrical senser at the top of the lower mechanical gear output?

At least the electrical sender dont fit in the lower hole and I have electrical speedo meter.

Or do I need to bay mechanical sender and adapt it to electrical🤯

My T-56 was out of a '99 Trans Am, and it had a place for the sensor in it.

The Viper has the speed sensor in the hole that you have the cover on, above the open hole in pic. I haven't seen a Viper tail with the lower hole you have uncovered, so not sure you have the reluctor behind the cover to trigger the speed sensor. Pull it off and see. The T56 speed sensor P/N for the Viper tail shaft is 4848214. When they changed the Viper to the TR6060, the speed sensor in the trans was eliminated.
