      12 bolt rebuild guide

I don't get why I'm having such trouble finding a walkthrough on rebuilding a 12-bolt.

I've got a stock 2.73 open rear, and a new Trutrac, and new 4.10 gears. I do not have a pinion depth gauge.

It's time to put these components together and make an axle. Can someone point me at a guide that actually tells me how to do this?

Plenty of pinion depth gauges out there, you will need one and a dial indicator and something to hold the pinion's driveshaft flange as you torque the nut to set the crush sleeve.

Tom's Differentials(RIP) had a bunch of videos on rear ends out there. He always had great prices and good advice also.

I would recommend checking pinion depth by the pattern. Even with the tool, you’ll
Need to verify. I built my 10 bolt using the guide on the 3rd gen site.
