Hi Frank. Is the carbon fiber version the only one that offers the moved MAF boss? Want to order something, just curious if the Carbon fiber is the option that will work the best, or if aluminum will work as well.

I'm ready to pay you Frank. I want the anodized black aluminum cold air intake for LS3 in my 69 camaro. I do have a high mount power steering reservoir tank. So I'm assuming I need the MAF moved slightly.

Please let me know how you want payment.

      Thanks, Mark

I ran into the same issue, but there is enough clearance in my case where I can plug the maf sensor and barely clear the PS reservoir from rubbing. Frank also made a few changes for me and extended the pipe 2" and added a vent tube. The extension was after the MAF. The added length was due to my larger C&R radiator with the oil cooler. Careful with moving it too much, per the GMPP instruction it should be in the middle of a min 6" of tube and it should be within 10" or so of the TB. This was an early version and before I had the high mount Holley setup. Glad to see Frank has a variation for this now.

I went through and read entire thread. I see the website now. I'm just a little worried because I had to trim underside of hood a tad to keep bottom side of hood from touching the 102 mm throttle body. Didn't know if you thought that would be an issue with the length of the cold air intake pipe?

It goes to my Pass side valve cover for the PCV system. I use a catch can for the dirty side. I may redo this at some point, but this is the how the instruction for the GMPP setup has it for my LS3.

Carbon fiber comes in all 3 variables , no MAF , MAF at 4.5” OC and 8.5” OC .

Frank - can the LT4 / LT5 cold air intake work on an LSA engine if we modify the intake?

      Thanks
