      Transmission Cooler Location

Since the radiator and AC condenser are a fixed location, where have you been installing your transmission cooler. Thanks in advance.

I don't have AC but I mount a "stacked" plate trans cooler right in front of the radiator. Then if the fans come on as the engine warms up they pull air thru the trans cooler.

Here is how I mounted mine on a couple of metal strips in front of the AC condenser on my 78 Camaro. If front of all is my PS cooler.

On the last pic, the the cooler fans are pulling air through all three coolers. Is that a good idea? Does this affect the engine temps? Thanks in advance.

      Trans Cooler Olds 442

I bought some 1/2"x1/8" mild steel strips from Home Depot and bent them to fit the radiator support on my '72 Olds 442. I stamped them "L" & "R" to note the placement before powder coating them. The cooler is a Tru-Cool plate type with 5/16" inverted flare connections. I wanted the clean look of hard lines & tube nuts; I not a big fan of hose barbs and hose clamps.
