      Shifter boot base install

I got a duhhhhhhhh question. Just want to make sure I get it right. Just laid down a bunch of dynamat, about to get ready to install the carpet.

Installing the shifter boot base (far left in pic).... should I use some metal screws and/or adhesive (on top of the dynamat) to secure the base ?

You can use metal screws, or if you want to get fancy, use nutserts.

      Thanks!

I got it from Silver sport transmission. It came with their kit for a manual conversion in a 1970 Nova
