That would have been nice for sure! I do like making it my own thou.

Got it fitted to the SPEC Chassis and all the final planning done yesterday. Should be wrapped up and ready for epoxy primer in a few weeks.

A huge thanks and shout out to Roadster Shop (Phil) for an awesome chassis setup and great customer service throughout this build.

Also thanks to Paul and Steve a Barr's Classic Auto Restoration in NC for the excellent work fitting and gapping the sheet metal.

Also a note on the shifter mentioned a few potst up. It can be removed from the big ugly base it comes in by tapping out the pin on the the one end. You end up with a nice compact unit to work with.

Started the bodywork on the hood. The hood vents are looking crisp! Also made a custom mount t for the transmission controller and under hood fuse box.

Did the guage and AC vent layout for the Dakota digital setup and laid out the lights, washer switch and AC control faceplate. Now I just need to cut them out on the laser and start test fitting.

No way lol. We are building a 66 C10 for him now. It's also a frame off but much simpler.

Thanks. I cut out some of the custom dash parts a few days ago. I need to refine the letters a bit, but close.

So the Anvil auto side marker lights are a direct fit on the 69 Camaro, but I wanted to move the marker lights factory location and give them a reassessed look. Got the tabs welded in.

Also got the doors fitted ant primed.

Making more progress. All the loose panels are ready for paint. The main body gets blasted roof skin attached tomorrow and epoxy applied. The hood underside is done in satin black as well as the front fenders. The underside of the hood with the vents looks factory!!

I haven't had time to run by the paint booth to see how it looks. Is should be done tomorrow. And assembly will start. Won't have the interior until December it looks like. But I will have it assembled and at least get it running before the interior shows up.

Quick Question - Did you end up having to relocate the DS knock sensor with the ultimate headers and if so where did you move it too?

Also would like to learn / reapply where you ended up putting the ECM and fuse box for my build

I don't remember relocating it, but I will check. I faxed a bracket and mounted the ECM under the dash and put the fuse box in the front with the transmission controller. I think I posted pictures if you scroll back a bit.

Thanks! The Speedtech Extreme frame headers require relocating, thought I would reapply if you did.

Making a bit more progress. Body didn't go to paint yet, but all the panels are done. Thought it would be best to get the RestoMod AC test fitted first. Should be delivered today after a 12 week wait.

The wheels will be here next week. Never thought I would see this project getting so close to completion after all this time.
