GP Race Works 69 Camaro LT4 w/8 speed Build
Well Here Go's Nothing!
I'm starting with an all original never modified 1969 Camaro. The original owner had the car for all but 3 months of it's life before I bought it. I got the car at a great price considering its very good condition. As 61k original miles on it. This project started out as just the car needing a new brake line, or at least that's what I told my wife
Now it is a full blown build. Over the past few months I've tour the car down to just a shell with a little help from my 12 year old son. you'll probably see him in some of the pictures along the way.
The car will be getting a Roadster Shop SCEC chassis, a Connect and Cruise LT4 with 8 Speed automatic.
I've built a few cars over the years, the last being a Pro-Touring 67 Chevelle with a 502BB. However I've never done one as extensive or expensive as this build. I didn't set a budget because I will blow past it anyway..lol

Ordered the SPEC chassis about 23 weeks ago and it should be going into production and final assembly this week according to Phil over at Roadster Shop.
It is set up with custom motor mounts for the Gen 5 LT4 and 8L90E 8 8 speed transmission. I went with the wet sump version but putting on the Holly oil pan.
I may try the Fast Track chassis on the next build with the IRS, but want to see how this goes first.

I orderd the LT4 last week, but the 8L90E's are on back order. Hope to get it the same time as the chassis to get the test fit done while the car is out getting dipped.
Hopefully I can drop the car to be dipped next week at Carolina Chem Strip.
