GM B body convertible top frame removal?

Currently working on my interior and it would make my life easier if the top were removable as one piece. I looks vaguely feasible but I have yet to find the procedure in any manuals.

I don't need to replace the top, just get all of it out of the way to work on other things.

This is a 69 Impala, not the 73+ scissor top. Any input would be great.

The frame itself can be easily be unbolted from the car. But, if I recall correctly, the top is stapled to a tack strip which is bolted to the car below the rear window area and at the sides. The question would be if those bolts would still be accessible once the top is stapled to it. This is at least how I remember it in my A body
