      Light weight insulation

What is everyone using for light weight insulation. I finally have a/c backbone my car and would like to feel it in the car?

Thermozite works well. I buy it on eBay.

I've heard of people using "Frost King" duct insulation in place of Dynamat & insulation. Can be bought at Home Depot, Lowes, etc... for cheap.

Supposedly works decent, but I cannot confirm.

Lizard skin ceramic coated my car, for the surface area covered, it's very light...Assuming you are only after thermal insulation. The ceramic coating is only 5.7lb per gallon and I probably used about 1.5gal from halfway up the firewall to the rear valance and the underside of my roof.

I plan on running clear ceramic tint this spring, which reduces the infrared solar load coming through the glass by 40%. I expect that to be a gamechanger in a classic car, a ton of heat comes in through the glass.

I bought Eastwood's version of Dyno-mat saved a few bucks for the floor and toe boards. Now I'm finishing the rest of the interior-under the rear seat, up under the hash, the package tray, door skins, trunk divider and the inside of the top before I had the headliner installed with Frost King. So far I like it, no issues about it coming loose. I'll order carpet with mass backing and that should do. I want to hear a little of that engine sound and stay cool in the summer.
