      Subframe level with rocker?

Should the subframe in 1st gens be the same level as the rocker panels? I'm asking because the rear of mine is slightly higher than the front. I can correct it now if that's an issue.

So I found some old GM drawings online, and it appears that the subframe should be level, but does not reference the rockers.

Yes, solid DSE bushings. I may try to get the front bushings milled down a bit. Or just space the rears?

This brings up something puzzling I came across on the Camaro forum. The stock rubber bushings are a different thickness front to rear but the solid bushings are the same front to rear. Not sure if this is the cause of what you are seeing or not. If you installed a new floor it could also have a significant impact.

Sorry I only have questions and no answers.

It should be level, but if someone put a floor in it incorrectly, it may need to be shimmed to level. Only way to tell is to install ALL the sheetmetal and align it without attaching to sub. We have had to shim the mounts in the past to get everything to line up.
