      What SCCA class should I be running in?

      Just curious what class you all think I should be running in SCCA Autocross with my F100. They've had me running in SSM for the last couple of years, and as you can see in my results, I'm getting it handed to me pretty bad in the PAX. Basic build specs are: 1974 F100, stock chassis, stock suspension with cut factory front coils, stock rear leaf springs with lowering shackles, front/rear swaybars, KYB shocks, panhard bar, 18" wheels and tires (take-offs literally off a 4x4 Chevy 1/2 ton on rear and Chevy Equinox fronts), no body mods whatsoever, has an aluminum headed big block and will be running fuel injection this year.

      I've been thinking about which class to run it in this year, and I'm getting magnetic signs made so I don't have to do the masking tape thing, so I'd like to know what class to get the decals made for. Should I run it in the "Musclecar" class? Is there one specifically for pickups yet? I've gone to SCCA's website and get more confused than anything reading all the different class rules....any help or info you can provide would be appreciated. I'd like to go for points this year, but want to be in the class I'll be most competitive in and belong in. And if I've put this in the wrong section, feel free to move it. Thanks again!

      Just got off the phone with our regional head cheese, and sounds like I'll be in the CAM-T class this year. Looking forward to not being handicapped into oblivion

      I would of guessed it would of been a CAM class.

      CAMT is a fit. How you do will depend on how prepared the own T cars are in your region.

      Yeah, I didn't even know about the CAM class last year, and we didn't have anyone in it in our region. Been running SSM in my Mach 1 and F100 for the last few years, glad they came out with the "Musclecar" class last year and look forward to being in it this next go around with the truck.
