How generous is the brake clearance. Do you have numbers what caliper overhang and radial fitment a 18x10 wheel will accept?

Does the face of the caliper overhang the mounting surface?

Oh Boy! now I get to spend more money! I like these wheels!

I am hoping for a rolling driving car this spring and then when it's assembled we can figure out which wheels to buy!

My car is the:1966 Nova SS build thread.

Don't all calipers? The Aero6 / hub combo I am looking at have a 1.7" overhang from the wheel mounting surface out to a radius of 8.12"

A template of the backside of the wheels that potential customers could print out would be a great thing.

      Absolutely!

For a typical bs ranges of 5.5-6" for a 10" wheel which is the front spacing we need for F-body's and I presume A bodies as well.

One template could be used for the different back spaces as well. Just mark where to cut for each different wheel.

Unfortunately, it's not as black and white as described. There are many variables in X-Factor Caliper Clearances of each size and backspacing of this technology based on the mandrel required to build a certain backspacing, wheel size. That does not even begin to further detail all of the various brake templates that are available in the aftermarket. Please understand conventional wisdom of welding a center into an outer that you're accustom to, does not apply here. As for 18x10, our X-Factor range is from 1.95" to 2.46". If you have a template to confirm, please email us : [email protected] and we'll confirm for you. Thanks!

I'm not sure. Do you have a copy of the template you can email us to confirm? Email [email protected] and we'll check the numbers against the template. Thanks for your interest.

I spoke with Bryan, who answers the [email protected] email and he received a brake template but that inquiry was regarding our Rocket Booster Wheels and not this new Rocket Attack Wheel. The Booster doesn't have this new technology, nor the brake clearances that the Attack Wheel does. If that wasn't your inquiry, you might want to give Bryan a call - 1.888.307.7525 Thanks!

Yes - he did check on the Attack wheel. Those wheels do not quite clear the rotor and caliper package I am using.

It's unclear to me how you guys came up with that 2.45" caliper clearance spec, because the caliper overhang on the kit I am planning to run is only 1.59 and Wildwood wants 0.080" clearance so that's under 1.7"
      14" rotor
Seems like a pretty standard fitment under a 18" wheel to me but requires a 1/8” spacer with these wheels.
