Love the color of your car! Just got my wheels and tires today. 18x9 5.5bs for all 4. 275/40/18 tires. I am also impressed with what I've seen so far. As soon as I have some decent weather I will get them mounted and share a pic!Name: 20190212_160829.jpg

A few photos - got tires mounted and mocked up on car. 18x10, 6" bs all around. 275/295 NT05 tires. Fit is great from what I can tell.
I have 3/8" clearance to the seatbelt hump and 1/2" to the spring in back with no spacer. I could go as low as needed with this set up - maybe hammer in the seat-belt hump just a bit. But current suspension set-up the car isn't ultra low - hotchkis springs set-up. So plenty of fender clearance in the back. I'll run 1/4" spacers in the back for now - will re-evaluate when I redo the rear suspension and add a 9" rear. I have a 4th gen 10 bolt which is .75" wider than factory second gen - which works out better for these wheels since there is more brake caliper clearance on a 6" bs vs. a 5" bs and there is no 5.5" bs option. So when I go 9" I will just use the 4th gen dimensions which should work out great. Don't plan to mini-tub the car. 295's seem plenty wide enough to me. I do wish more companies made them. And I could fit 315's with some minor massage work on the seat belt hump area especially once I move to a coil over spring - worse case some gentle fender lip rolling if I needed to keep the .25" spacers in there to make them work. Pretty sure a 315 will work down the road - especially on a 10" wheel. Not the ideal wheel width for a 315 but it would work OK if I want to switch to a tire that doesn't have a 295.

Looks good, and seems to fill the wheel well nicely! I would only recommend a 315 for a 10.5 and wider rim. 11 is ideal for a 315 tire width. Generally a stretched tire will perform better than a even or pinched setup for handling or autocross. If its is purely for looks/widest tire and you are not concerned about every ounce of performance then it can be done on less than a 10.5.

295 is a good size for this car w/o going to mini tubs - which is a lot of work and beyond the scope of what I want to do.
I just wish there were more of the 200TW tires in this size. Nitto and Yokohama seem to be the only ones. There are a few 285 options - but most are jumping from 275 to 315. I can always switch to 11" wheels if I go that route, these are also available in 18x11 with 6" bs.
We shall see how these do and it will be a few years before I need to change them anyway - hopefully by then I'll have the rear suspension done too.

Finally weighed mine. 25 lbs for an 18x9 5.5bs no center cap. 275/40/18 Sumitomo HTR Z III is 28.5 lbs. Sumitomo says it should weigh 31 lbs.

      Thanks! I appreciate it!

I have to say Thank You to Rocket Racing Wheels. I was certainly a little stressed about the wheel situation. Cheap wheels weren't going to cut it and a lot of them wouldn't clear the new brakes. High end wheels are out of my price range. The wheels in my price range just didn't have "The Look" I was after. It's been 10 years since I pulled this car into the garage and let it snowball on me!!! Rocket Racing has solved a major issue for a lot of car builders by releasing these wheels at a decent price point. I might actually be able to get my Camaro on the road by this summer!

What front brakes do you have? Also, what size rotors? Thanks

Front brake calipers are stock C5 Corvette. I think the rotors are 13". The problem I was having with wheel fitment was the wheel contacting the caliper abutment. Rear brakes are 2015 Camaro V6.

I noticed that issue with abutment also. How much extra clearance do you have from outside of caliper to wheel? I have Kore3 c5 rotor brackets but if possible I would like to install Z51 or c6 z06 rotors, I figure the cost is almost the same why not fill up the wheels. Really considering a set of these in 18s. Are yours 7 or 8" width?

Sorry some of the pictures are not orientated correctly. It depends on how I held my phone on how the pic seems to upload.

It's hard to tell but there is a LOT of room in there. The two middle pics show the inside profile of the wheel pretty good. I did the best I could contorted under the car!!

My setup is this: original ATS tall spindles
      C5 brakes
      18x9 wheels with 5.5 bs

Thanks for the pics! Above and beyond. Looks to me like these wheels should clear the 14" rotors and c5/6 base calipers without problems. Also, what was involved in the rear camaro v6 brake conversion?

      Again with the sideways pic.
I can't take credit for anything with the rear brakes except for finding the guy to pay for the whole kit! And I installed it, so there is that.
I'm just glad I found a way to use GM brakes on a 9".
He's not a forum supporter so I don't want to rile anyone up so I'll send you a PM with his info.

Here is what the clearance looks like with c6 z06 rotors. Unfortunately I don’t have calipers yet but there is still plenty of room.

Not sure why the second pic is sideways, sorry for that.

The wheels clear the ST60 calipers easily.
