      Paddle Shifting Opinions

      Hey everyone,

I performed the compulsory search but couldnt really find what I was looking for. I have a 4l80e in a 68 firebird with a FAST EZ TCU. I have a B&M Quicksilver shifter that allows for ratchet-style bump shifting.

My question or query is to solicit opinions on paddle shifters.

-Those that have them, do you use it?
-How would you rate/describe the speed or response time from a shift request?
-Do you use the paddles for autox or track time?

Any general opinions or thoughts on paddle shifters would be appreciated. I like the idea of paddle shifting, but I am concerned the idea exceeds the reality. I drive 2-3k miles a year and hope to track/autox a bit in 2019.

      Thanks,

      Ken
