      1970 Nova - B Pillar Cracks - Suggestions?

Got some body issues that have been bugging me for awhile, time to fix. I have a crack in each of my B-Pillars. Wondering if anyone’s seen similar/what you’ve done to resolve. Seems like the simple solution is to weld em. Thoughts?

car history - cracks were there when I bought them car 10 years ago. Frame is good/straight. Previously had a 300 HP and a 375 HP engine. Just put in an LS3 and subframe connectors (bolted in the front/welded in the rear)Name: 42ADBEBD-C1D2-497F-B027-B071F3BA4040.jpg

It could be just filler...or it could be something more serious. You won't really know until you sand that area down and that could turn into a deep rabbit hole.

I am guessing that is a leaded joint that has failed. You will have to melt it and remove it before you can weld it up. If you find brazing in that joint it will need to be removed too.
