      Ok, so this is a tech question, but I have a basic sbc with iron heads. Are these heads a reasonable upgrade for a stock type non-roller block, or do I need to go with something milder?

      They will give you lots of room to grow that's for sure. If your not going to do anything else to the engine then yes they are overkill imo
