Which ends for new 9" housing

I am looking to have a new housing built for the 9" in my 69 camaro. Car is a street car with DSE suspension. I plan to run c6 Z06 brakes at all 4 corners probably with Kore brackets on the rear. Is the Torino big bearing the best end for my application? Also should I opt for the tapered bearing setup? Thanks for any help.

Yes, at the very least, Torino ends with tapered bearings.

I like these. You can either weld on or they do a bolt on for the Torino end. https://millerbuiltusa.com/

Man, that millerbuilt deal is not THAT much more expensive once you add everything in.

Go straight to a floater housing. I have a Torino housing now and am converting to a floater for safety concerns as well as the ability to easily add wheel speed sensors.

Agree! I wish they had that floater option when I had them build by 9". I have the torino ends with the tapered bearings on the axle.

badazz81z28 I tried to send you a pm but your box is full.

I am using this kit fro Strange. https://www.strangeengineering.net/p...es-brake-kits/

I called saw Carl from Wilwood at SEMA last week and he got me a part list so that I an use the majority of my Wilwood 14" brake kit. I have to buy new hats and backing plates. I will likely do the work myself. I have most of the parts I need like an alignment bar but will source out the bearing supports I need to finish the job. I estimate the cost of the modifications $2,000. Much cheaper to do from the beginning than to retrofit.
