      F-body Nationals 2018

Anyone going? My two sons and I will be there. If all goes well then I'll be doing my first autocross and drag race.

We will be there participating in the autocross. Hopefully the area is a little less rough a surface than last year. You'll get your fill of autocross runs.

Boy was that a big disappointment, rain didn't help on Sat but none the less, vendors down 1/3 from last year, swap meet....not a soul there! IMHO the over hyped over charged, I get it trying to make it a respectable national event but you have to start somewhere, but I think they tried to start at the top and hopped for the best instead of building a base, I don't see this event coming back for more than one more year.

I heard they were locked in for two or three years. I also heard that there were more Firebirds last year but they complained that there wasn't enough and didn't come back this year. It was a bit disorganized but not the worst show I've been to, it'll take time to work out the wrinkles. Rain and venders not showing up on Saturday really hurt. I had a good time none the less. I didn't think the fee was overboard for what was available, dragracing and autocross. Heck a local SCCA event will cost me $50 and I would only get five runs in.

Is this the one in Memphis? If so last year was so so at best. I was expecting something like goodguys and goodguys blew it away. Best thing that came from it was meeting someone who we became friends with, two buddy’s getting some pic take by gm performance people, and riding with Brian finch
