      Is this bracket strong enough?

I am considering using this bracket in my 55 Chevy to mount bucket seats. From the factory the car did not have inner seat mounts as they only came with bench seats. I was going to fabricate my own brackets but don’t want any hardware showing on the bottom side of the car. The seats I’m going to use also have the seat belt mounting points attached to them. This bracket uses the original mounting holes so it would have 8 x 5/16” bolts. Would this bracket be strong enough to use considering it would also be the inner seat belt mount? If not I suppose I could mount the seatbelts into the floor using a factory type seatbelt washer/load spreader.

You will need to put seat belt anchor plates under the set mounting frame. These will spread the load out across the floor.
If you do not put anchor plates in, the bolts will pull thru the floor in the event of an accident.
