5th gen handbrake in 2nd Gen

My 72 has a 5th gen console and currently does not have a parking brake. I have ordered a wilwood rear brake kit that has the built in parking brake. I would like to use the handbrake from the 5th gen camaro. Does anybody have any advice on how to do this? Thanks

I bought the 5th gen hand brake cables and will be shortening them, it looks pretty straight forward to me, I just don't have a crimper yet

slim, do you have the handle mounted to the floor yet? If so, how did you do it?!

Ive done it in my 67. quite a bit of fab to get cable tube through tunnel correctly. I made a metal mounting plate for the handle mount. Reused t-bar at cable transition, and had new cables made with threaded ends at transition.
