      Speedhut tach taking a dump

My Speedhut Tach took a dump this past weekend. The needle is sluggish and at idle it reads about 300 RPMs lower than actual and will not rev past 4,000 RPMs. Has anyone ever had a problem with their Speedhut Tach? Just curious.

Is there poop on your column then? Or did it miss that completely and land on your jorts? Just curious.

I'd just call them and get an RMA, they have a lifetime warranty. Its one of the reasons I chose them.

havent had any troubles with the speedhut tach (or any of the other gauges) that we put in my dads truck. The oil pressure sender was leaking out between the plastic and the metal part and a quick call to them and they sent me a new one with no questions, had it in a few days.

The jorts were definitely clean and April fresh and I didn't notice anything on the column but, I will check behind the dash panel.
