      sway bar question

I just installed a C5 front suspension on my car, and now need to buy sway bars for it. Also have a question about rear springs. First I scaled the car and with me and a full tank of fuel it weighs 3488 lbs., 50.1% front, using Ride Tech's spring calculator, the 650# front springs are correct, but the rear shows I should use 225# and I have 275#, but they don't mention the placement of the shocks inboard from the tire. But back to my main question. With this information what size sway bar should I run? Frame mounts are 28" wide and the mount points on the LCA is 39" from left arm to the right arm. Thanks in advance for the help.

The weight and balance seems to be about the same as a Corvette (maybe a little heavier), so why not use a stock size swap bar? Or, what do the Corvette guys install?

If the 275 springs are working for you, keep them!

the Ride Tech's spring calculator is a base not the absolute, just so you have an Idea were to start, after that you tune springs to the vehicles purpose and dynamics

there is so much missing from this, what car? is it a fabricated frame? C5 components or C5 frame structure? using C5 parts does not make it a C5, suspension geometry?
The sway bar should be used as a tuning device so there will be some trial and error.

Thanks for your reply, the front suspension is an inch or more narrower than the C5 corvette. my track width is 57.125" And I think I will stay with the 275# springs in the rear

Thanks for your reply. Yes you are right, because it doesn't take into account the width of the rear shock/spring mounting locations on the rear axle, as I found out.

Thanks for your reply. Sorry, but this question is based on my current build, It is a 1950 Chevy Fleetline. It is a fabricated sub frame with C5 LCA,UCA, and spindles. The manufacture stated OEM mounting points from the C5, however, that doesn't takeinto account, that the pick up poionts are narrower to fit this car,and the final ride height for proper roll center.
