I have not painted that color, but what information are you looking for? That car was in the Akzo Noble booth at SEMA 2017. I tried to talk with a rep about their Wanda paint line, but they seemed more interested in pushing their shop management software.

I am concerned with how teal it may be. It looks very blue. I like the splash of teal in the blue but don't want it to look teal more than blue in the sun.

Here are a couple pictures I got from the Azko Nobel booth. When you look straight at the paint it is fully blue, but when you look from an angle it picks up the teal highlights. I never saw the car in the sun, but I want to. It is a beautiful build.

I didn’t notice any appreciable green cast when I viewed it and if somebody would’ve asked be what color it was when looking at it I would’ve said “medium blue”.

Might be best if you’re interested to order a quart and spray a test panel.

      Definitely a nice build.

I would try Atlantis Blue Metallic. It is used on BMWs. I painted my 69 this color and it looks tealish in sunlight.

Yes, just as in WallaceMFG's post. But didn't take pictures. So many top level cars, and so many people.

      Teal later

did you decide to use Teal Later paint?

Im having to toss a coin in a week or 2 to decide on blue or silver paint on my car,(69 camaro) Was wanting something close to Jetstream blue or the newer C5 vette color Nassau blue(not the nassau blue from the 60's) with black SS stripes and the Teal Later has me thinking. Wish I could see a spray out. Also thinking silver with some black accents somewhere, possibly wing or roof and maybe the DZ1 hood stripes.

I'd be willing to pay for a spray out. I know a quart is $200

I am seriously considering this color for my 71, any pics of the spray outs? Is it basically C5 Nassau blue with teal pearl?

Moraine blue is the color of the Land Rover. It is on one of the sprayouts.

Jetstream blue is the smaller sprayout. I tore a piece off for someone.

The teal later is the other large sprayout. It flops from a vuolet blue to the teal. Dave Kindig has a video explaining that it was developed to flop like a 3 stage candy paint but in a base coat clear coat 2 stage that can easily be touched up.

So the smaller sprayout is Jetstream blue
The moraine blue is always to the left and the teal later is always on the right.

You can buy a sample deck for all the Modern Classik colors. Not cheap but if you are dropping that kind of money on base it’s good insurance. I saw a guy trying to sell two gallons of his violet color after realizing he didn’t like it.
