      project VetteHawk

      Ok, I am starting a new project build. This will be a chassis swap build. 1977 Buick Skyhawk and a 1989 C4 Corvette chassis. LS 427, transmission TBD. 18 x 11 wheels and 315/30-18 tires.       I think I would weld the body to the frame, making it a unibody.

      Yes once the roll cage and interior support frame is removed, I will then weld the body on, alone with the flat bottom floors to form a belly pan for the rear diffuser to work best.

      Unfortunately I've been super slammed with work, so I haven't been able to get back to it. i did buy 2 Racequip racing seats, and a bunch of steel to lay out the transmission crossmember and floor bracing.
