Getting the exhaust tucked up inside the frame rail. Going well for my first attempt at this.

Got the mid pipes all welded up. Just need to connect the straight pipes and hang the Borla Mufflers.

Looking good anymore updates ? What rear suspension are you running? Are you happy with the ride tech front suspension?

Just starting to hang the mufflers now. I’m running the speed tech torque arm with a Ford 9in. I’m happy so far with the front suspension but haven’t really been able to test it on the road yet.

Just need to do some final adjustments and weld on the exhaust tips. I’m pretty happy for my first exhaust system. Name: IMG_0200.JPG

Exhaust Completed. Tucked really nice within the frame rails. Time to adjust the ride height lower now that I have more ground clearance.

Starting some more upgrades. Going to be removing the hydroboost and going to give manual brakes a try. Got a new Wilwood master cylinder, will attempt at making all new brake lines, new 12.7.1 ratio borgeson power steering box, and new power steering pump. Want to tighten up the steering. This should be the last bit of mechanical work that needs to be done. Put the new power steering pump and pulley in today with a little he from my step son.

Is your H pipe stainless? Been looking for a 3" stainless H pipe but haven't been able to find one. Looking good!

Yes the H-pine is 409 stainless universal kit I ordered through summit racing. Here is the part number for the 3in. I got the 2.5in kit.

Summit Racing Balance Tube Kits SUM-642030-SS

I could have probably made one with the stainless kit I order off of ebay. Here is the link below to the kit I ordered. I originally ordered the 3in, but got some advice from another member on here that 3in is not really useful unless running over about 550-600hp. After test fitting one of the pipes I decided to go with 2.5in exhaust for better ground clearance and I’m only running about 435HP. Just select stainless and quantity in the link below. The picture shows mild steel, but they have other options to select stainless.

Borgeson box didn’t fit my headers it’s wider than the stock power steering box by about a half an inch. Called Lee power steering and they were great. Fit like a glove. Took a few weeks to get here but finally installed the Lee Power Steering 12:1 ratio box. New stainless lines also installed. Hopefully, will test it out this weekend after bleeding the system.

Good luck in Indiana(and good call). My buddy quit Illinois a few years ago for a place just south of Indy and got a gorgeous ranch with water on the property and a climate controlled garage for waaay less than the typical suburban home he had. Its sad to think that just an hour and a half east (from chicago) theres a state with a balanced budget and realistic property taxes. I could almost buy a used LS7 with the property taxes I spend each year. Seriously wish you the best, you'll have a few good months of fall driving before it gets icy and winter project teardown season begins lol.

Finally getting some work done on the Nova. Had to wire up the fuel sending unit, reinstall the trunk springs. Sealed up all the bare metal in the interior. Next will be the trunk and probably start putting the interior back together. Got a one piece headliner from TMI a while back. Hoping to get that in soon.
