Tampa/St Pete Pro-tourers - question about real estate

Any Tampa/St Pete gear heads in here? I have some questions about the region.

Thinking of a possible relo to the area. Don't know the ins and outs of the region and wanting to know what towns/communities within 25 miles or 30 minute drive to ocean/coastal St Pete are nice, good schools, etc.

      Thanks

I can say much about schools because my Ex raised my son in Atlanta.

My favorite place in Pinellas Cty is Safety Harbor - feels like a old small town but is right in the middle of everything. How big a place are you looking for?

Tampa itself has changed a lot in the last 10 years, getting spread out to places I thought nobody would drive to. I live in an Old Section of Tampa (my house is 70 years old) but it is not the same as when I moved in.

There are a lot of Car events - a Cars n Coffee every weekend somewhere, St Pete GP, close to Dragstrips, Big Car Shows.

      My wish list:
      budget = $600k +-
      Newer home, open to style
      3500+ square feet
      4+ bedrooms
      1+ acres
      Highly rated public school system
Within 30 minute drive to coast
      Employment potential for mid-level professionals
      Affluent community
      Low crime
      Entertainment/restaurants a+
      Prefer no HOA

the 1 Acre thing? Houses are close together down here except communities that have 5 Acre Lots. I hate HoA's.
