      AC compressor question

Can the back plate of the compressor be clocked (rotated)? I need to fit the suction hose under the hood. Preferred method is to shorten the line but I need someone who can I can send it to, to get it as short from the nut that I can. I would think it is right where the dark mark(line) on the bottom is. Know anyone? Last ditch is to cut the hood brace, grease spot on the blue tape. but not at all preferred. Thanks

What about a 90 degree drop fitting? i used these on my car because I didn't have room between the inner fender. They make them with or without the port. www.coldhose.com
