Still need to install the anti roll bar in the back, but will do that later.
In my build I just went with an 98 Explorer 8.8 with 31 splines, 3.73s , and a traclok . I originally planned on going with a Moser built rear end but it would have been overkill . But seeing that you're in Germany it would be hard to come up with an Explorer piece . Nice build.

      Keeping it oldschool .
      408 with carburator, TKO600.

Engine just got tested on the dyno, 450 peak hp and 500 peak torque.

Should arrive end of this week or next week.

      Thanks for the compliment

Hey cool! I had a forged 408 made out of my 351w block and chose a TKO600 too! I'm doing FI though. Looks like you'll be up and running a little ahead of me so I'm very eager to hear your feedback on the combo.

And nice work overall by the way.

Will keep you posted on it,saw your build and to be fair, i am just buying new parts and installing them which is much easier then what you are doing with your customisation.
      Impressed by your front suspension!

This is my first project so this is hard enough for me allready.
      Thanks for the compliment though.

Now lets make it a race to get finished first to motivate eachother :D

No worries, All the same in pricing to get stuff here.
Everything i buy from the states you have to add 33% extra on top of the sum you pay to the store...( import and extra taxes)
So if i build a 50.000$ car it will cost me 68.000$...
      Retard laws around here..

That's exactly the same here in Canada , if Summit sells a part for $300 us it costs me $400 cdn . But I'm sure your shipping costs are a lot more !.

      Engine arrived here last week,
gonna drop it in next week most likely.

Few questions though...i have no idea where to connect the water temp sensor and the oil pressure sensor...
Where do you normally connect these ??

I just found out i do not have a full picture of my engine, great :D
      Will make one soon!

see allot of 'holes' in the engine, not sure if it goes somewhere there?
Some of them are open and some of them are closed of with a bolt.

And what is this "bolt" next to the oil filter??

Oil pressure sensor goes in the port circled in red. Temp sensor will be in intake manifold.

Found some time again, such an important thing, time...

Installed the engine and the transmission over the last days.

Offcourse not without some issues, electrical fan does not fit now so will need to make some adjustments.
Had to do some cutting for the tko but all went well.

      Just doing the wiring now.
Will hopefully fire it up in the coming weeks if i find more time....

Got an issue with the wiring though, bought a standard kit from speedway motors, really happy with it.
But i also have a new msd ignition box.

So this pink wire is the ignition feed in the cable boom.

But when installing my msd box which i bought separate and has nothing to do with the new cable boom,
the msd instruction say connect the red wire directly to the battery and the black also ( + and - ).
Since this msd box is in control of the ignition and gets a feed from the battery,
what do i do with the pink cable from the cable boom???

      Greets!

I bet money that pink wire is a resistance wire that is meant to power the coil. Strip the insulation and I bet the conductor inside is very thin. This is done to protect the coil from full 12 volts, when used in an original installation.

Yes that's your starter relay. Even I have to use one with a full PDM.

Yes, Ford style starter relay. Remember that the screws that hold it down need to be clean and contact unpainted metal. Fords are funny like that...
