Using AN lines for radiator hoses??

I have a Meziere "race" water pump, it is the heavy duty version and I plan on using it for road racing and some street use. I purchased -16 AN hose adapters from Meziere to make my own radiator hoses and not use the rubber factory lines. Will -16 lines be too small for cooling an LS motor? Is anyone else running -16 lines? I believe factory lines would be equal to -20 AN but this Meziere pump should flow much higher rates, website says 42GPM ive read mixed reviews on a factory LS1 water pump but what ive read its about 25GPM

Any help wold be greatly appreciated, I think I can get -20 fittings from Meziere if needed.

I would stick with the AN-20...but I have no empirical reason for saying that.

I appreciate your input, It's only $40.00 for the -20 fittings I just don't know if I necessarily need them
