      Challenger Tr6060 using t56 clutch/flywheel?

      Hey guys,

I know this is pretty common with the camaro guys but I have a gen 3 hemi and dodge challenger TR6060. I was looking to find out if anyone has taken one of these tr6060s, which are basically t56 magnums and use t56 clutchs and flywheels?

It would save me a ton of headache and money if this was the case. I have the stock bell housing from the challenger that bolts to the hemi.

      Thanks for any help!

The clutch and the flywheel is specific to the engine not the transmission.

Right. Fyywheels go with crank shafts, clutch covers go with flywheels, disk splines are transmission specific...although in this case the splines are the same.

If I recall correctly, the 1-1/8" 26 spline shaft is pretty standard these days. The Bell housing will be the tricky part.

Am I understanding this correctly that as long as the spline count and bolt pattern is the same then the clutch/fly wheel will work?

So in this case the Chevrolet and dodge are the same, thus it should work together?

They should, if the input shaft length is the same. I don't know enough about the various flavors of Tr6060 transmissions to say for sure.

Andrew would you happen to know what the Chevrolet input shaft length is?

If you look up the dimensions for a T56 Magnum, you'll find your answer.
