A few more roof dents were remedied. The trunk lid and hood bracing was sealed to prevent oil canning. And doors were weighted to simulate normal load.

All sheetmetal is back on the car...dialing in front end panels is next, which won't take long since it's been done before.

I’m still struggling with color. I’m between the modern B5 blue (light pearl) and several shades of silver. I have a little more than an acre…not a ton but still enough.

If you're stuck between a blue and a silver, how about '71 Chrysler Glacier Blue. The person who posted these pics identified the code as "Dupont 5247, Mopar B-2".Name: 5-01-2013-005-800x513-e1374443552730.jpeg

Front panel alignment done. If I didn't mention it before, the hood hinges have been rebuilt.

Amazing work! Do you build these cars for yourself or for clients?

Cool to watch your build come together! It must have been a thing years ago to paint factory red cars yellow. My 68 charger was born red then at some point got an awful attempt at a yellow paint job also.

I saw you are using modern mopar seats in your car. Are you going to try using the rear seats as well? I’ve been thinking about using them too. Is there a generation of seats that could be used without modifying the floor? I’d like to keep the power adjustment motors but maybe the older stuff would be easier? Like no power control module involved?

The B body floor contour will pretty much always require modification.

Roof ribs are glued to the roof skin. And the roof skins were covered with Kilmat.

Been awhile...stuff has been happening at a slow but steady pace so I'll try to catch up on the progress posts. The trim along the tops of the doors was deleted so those holes were welded closed. Also patched one last spot in the door jamb at bottom of the passenger side A pillar

Are you planning on ditching the drip-rails as well? The belt molding that runs on the top edge of the door transitions into the drip rail so I was curious if you had a plan to deal with that. I shaved the drips on my 68 and it gives it a slightly sleeker look

I thought about it but decided to just eliminate the drip rail trim. The gap at the top of the A pillar was filled in and the aft end of the gutter was extended slightly so water will not run into the bottom corner of the window.
