Very Nice build! I'm starting the same thing next summer, 68 440-6Speed mag. I'm an old school carb guy so I had to go with the 440 or a R5P7. To keep cost down, I'm sticking with the 440. My car is in a little worse shape and someone started hacking the rear frame wells in trying to go full tub. I'm pushing them back out and using a full frame from Schwartz. Wife doesn't want to run a cage So my main option to stiffen everything up was decided on full frame. Makes it easier to roll sooner then later. Keep on keeping on! That looks great!
Another note. I'm actually considering using the Speedkore Carbin Fenders to offset some weight. I just hope their fit is better then the factory banged up ones I currently have.

Zach used mostly hammers, dollies, bullseye pick, spoons, and shrinking disc.

You Sir are a master with metal. Glad you are doing better health wise.
      My half a$$ed build thread.https://www.pro-touring.com/threads/...elle-6-0-4L60E

Tighten it till it strips & back it off a quarter turn.

I wish I could take credit but my friend Zach is the sheet metal wizard.

And thank you. I feel great and I’m back to doing almost everything I used to do…unless it involves lifting my dominant arm above shoulder height…but I’m just grateful to have the arm and be alive!

May as well get some cool pictures in bare metal before it all comes apart for media blasting inside and in all the nooks/crannies.

Great looking project. How do you deal with flash rust on bare sheet metal before primer?

It will all get stripped again. It will go to the media blaster but I don't like blasting big open/flat panels. When it comes back, the big open panels will get DA'd again and it will be sealed in epoxy right away.

The exhaust was running pretty close to the rear frame rails, so the rear rails were narrowed next to the cylinder mufflers. The firewall welding was also finished up.

The metal work on this car is outstanding. When most guys would just bring out the body filler, your guy brings out the metal working tools. Lost art, and I want to learn!

The really crazy thing is that my body guy is only about 35 years old...he has phenomenal talent and work ethic. He has learned from some real craftsman and has learned well.

That is so funny looking - can't really see the rotisserie, so at first glance it looks like the straps are keeping the body from floating away from the truck.

Looking forward to more updates on this.
