Thanks mowtown 454, andrewb70, and steveracer33 for the nice words. I finally got my car done. I finished the trunk area and back seat area. I decided to do a rear seat delete and put in a roll bar that has detachable front bars to take out when just cruising and put in when racing. I also got to take to an indoor invite only car show last. The car got a lot of interest and it just missed peoples choice by 5 votes. Pretty good considering it went up against professional built cars that are not drove and I put on 3k last summer. I’m very pleased with the final results. Now it’s time for fun and racing!!

Amazing work, dig many of your fab ideas in the engine bay.....I am considering borrowing the engine oil cooler mounting location you used!

Oh and the interior work....especially dash & column is phenomenal!

Thanks Rucumn for the kind words. Let me know how the cooler works for you. I basically have my car done, I’ve been waiting for a new valve body for my transmission for my paddle shifts so I have engine braking on downshifts from Jakes performance, it should be a blast to drive when I get it. I’ve also started on my kids car. We sold his old car which was a 66 with 5.3 and 4l60e. It was a great driver car but needed body work. I ran across a good deal on a 66 SS so the build starts. Here are some pics of what has been done so far.

Wow you make the metal work process look easy;-) It gets a lot easier after the first one doesn't it!

Will you do the same frame mods as your '67?

Thanks Motown 454 and Rucumn. Last night I got to have fun with Rosie 2 for the first time. Made six passes with a best of 10.73 at 128.50. Best 60 foot was 1.64 . All runs were on low boost and made on true street tires. Here are a few photos I can’t get videos to load.

I couldn’t believe that my real street tires would hold but at least I was running on low boost and 3:25 rear gear helps a lot . I loaded a couple pics but I couldn’t get any videos to load.
