      Water pump hose fitting removal

Anyone know how to remove the heater hose fittings from an ls2 water pump? I want to tap them for AN fittings. Thanks

Apply some *even* heat to the aluminum around the fitting you want to remove and use a big pair of vise grips to work them out.

i took a 1/8 punch and gently collapsed it into itself and they pretty much fell out. loaded up my tap with bearing grease and threaded it.
