      Thanks, I saw that somewhere and forgot to post it here. My fire extinguisher service guy always recommended metal valve type extinguishers. They wouldn't service the plastic type.
      Its a good idea this time of year to service them or at least turn them upside down and thump them with a rubber mallet. The powder clumps up just sitting and can fail to discharge when you need it.

      Another heads up on fire extinguishers, inspect them regularly. My dad recently lost a quad to fire when the nozzle of two of the fire extinguishers were clogged by mud dauber wasps.
