Project Corruptt - Ferrari powered 1968 Mustang

This is a 1968 Mustang I started building almost 10 years ago and am now finally going to finish. It has quite a few modification I previously did such as ridetech air suspension (which will need some updating) shaved cowl vent, door handles, emblems etc. made a trunk spoiler that is laid down, made quarter extensions out of steel and incorporated into the body as well as the rear bumper. Started on the ground effects and most noticeable chopped the top. The car is currently at The media blaster so we can continue the modification necessary to install something a little different under the hood. What we will be running is a Ferrari V8 that will receive a set of turbos as well.

Here is the engine. F430 based but will have quite a few custom touches to make it operate correctly in its new home. Will be running a Ferrari California intake manifold to locate the throttle bodies correctly in a front engine application. Will be runnig Ls 92MM throttle bodies

There is quite a few components that will need to be designed to make this all work. We will be runing a t56 behind the Ferrari v8 so adapters will need to be made. Everything is being designed in CAD to ensure accuracy

I love the fact it's NOT a Coyote swap, the Ferrari mill is quite cool.

I love the fact that it's not a LS swap, a Coyote would be cool, but a Ferrari is even cooler......

That hammered top looks really good. With that Ferrari 430 bullet, that car has the potential to be epic.

Got all the pieces water jetted to adapt the engine. The throttle body flanges will get welded to the intake so I can bolt the LS twin throttle bodies to it. Name: IMG_1098.jpg

I love what the chop does for the profile of the car, looking forward to the build.

I agree, looks like a svelte funny car! Wasn't sure at first but the top down view makes it look right.

It makes me think of a rendering, where it's not 100% accurate to the car, but looks awesome. This looks more like an actual rendering than the typical result IRL. Does that make sense?

Cool build! I would definitely consider going with DBW throttle bodies. It will make part throttle tuning much easier with those bit 90mm TBs.

Adapter plate has come back from CNC. we made a water jet plate to confirm measurements first. This will cheange the Ferrari bell housing to a Chevrolet pattern.
