      MelloX - 1971 Chevrolet C10

      Hey Everyone,

Here are some pics of MelloX, the 1971 Chevrolet C10 I'm building to tear up the AutoX course

I worked with Ben from Speedtech to come up with the rendering of the truck, he's awesome to work with.

Base of it all is a Xtreme Speedtech Chassis, awesome quality with their products and great tech support from Roger, Blake and Jay! Stopping power provided by 6p Baer Brakes and 14" rotors. It will be riding on Forgeline Dropkick wheels wrapped in BFG Rival S tires, with Ron Sutton ridetech single adjustable shocks!

Engine is a CT525 LS3 backed by a T56 transmission and 9" rear with a Strange case. I am currently in process of converting the fuel system to FiTech's Ultimate LS System. Some more engine details, it has a Speedtech ATS oil pan, Improved Racing Remote Oil Filter Housing/thermostat, PRC Oil Cooler, PRC Radiator, Ultimate stainless headers, Rick's Fuel Tank, Aeromotive filter/regulator, Earl's fuel line and fittings and I just ordered my Drive Junky pulley system!

Goal is to have this baby ready to drive by next summer, do some tuning and dial it in and then finish off paint and details next Fall.

      Matt

      In for updates to.
I'd bolt some seats to it as is and cruise haha.
Looks bad with that wheel/tire combo and you'll have plenty of motivation from that drivetrain.

The fellow hasn't posted anything since posting this build (2017).

Sweet truck, but I think he's gone.

Didn't even think to look at his history.
      True, definitely a sweet truck.
      Hope he's all good though.
