Best pre-paint wax and grease remover???

What are you guys using for pre painting prep and in between primer/filler coats? Ive been using PPG dx330 but its a little pricey so I was wondering if there is something else available cheaper that will work just as good. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Being water based, does it take a long time to dry? And is it ok to use this for all steps of body work leading up to final paint?

It is alcohol so dries relatively fast. Ok for everything but fresh basecoat. I don't think it is good practice to use solvent based cleaners on bodyfiller and primer.
